Better Communication Results: Putting an extinguisher to bridges still burning

Lee, please don't interpret my lack of comment as offense! I have been swamped here. Besides, I couldn't think of something CLEVER to say!!! ;-))

    Lee,

I know your posts tend to be written tongue-in-cheek style, but I will still admit that when reading the post, my first thought was something along the lines of "oh, boy" or "uh-oh" ... I thought it just might land you in a little bit of hot water.

But hold your head high, good sir. Your apology is genuine, and you've clearly learned your lesson. Now ... (in my best parent/schoolteacher voice) don't let it happen again!

And you ARE funny ... most of the time :)

Thanks Bryan! I think you'll enjoy the latest 'chat' that Allan and I have just recorded -- due out in a few hours. And thanks, too, for the kind mention in your latest podcast -- the voice overs work well, hey?! Nice editing!

Interesting. Very much so. I wonder how the ladies, after reading your blog and listening to you on podcasts, could have NOT getting that you were kidding? Maybe they...? I thought it was very funny, and am just waiting for Neville to chime in and suggest why don't we do a calendar of our own - in Second Life. That might be fun...(back to lurk moder)

Any compliments for the editing on New Comm Road Podcast go to my co-host Mike Bellina. He did all of the post-production on this episode, and I'm grateful for that. I had the easy part - show notes.

But your voice gave the show some more life, Lee!

Well, after having recovered from nearly choking to death (see Kami's comment from yesterday) and having read this post, I can see you didn't anticipate that some people might be taken aback (I considered it a bit over the top in its exclicitness). For me, there's a difference between jokes made privately and those made in an open forum. Ah well, your apology was sincere :-)

And I am feeling pretty generous tonight too. Apology accepted! Andrea and I really feel out though.
  • Lee · 3 years ago
I appreciate your acceptances, believe me!!

No apology necessary. I knew that if you included me in that list it was certainly tounge in cheek! Go...shoo..have a good weekend. No worries.

    God bless you, Donna T!
