LOL, I thought that was a phone number (not photo number) for a moment.

It isn't free, but iStockphoto is nearly free, $1-$3 and you can get the photos hi-res. Thanks for the bead on some free stuff.

G'day Kami -- thanks for that. I can't remember where else I heard about iStockphoto, but someone else highly recommends them, too. $3 is an AMAZING price when you think I could pay 100 times that for one image from some stock places, or 30-40 times that for a Photodisc/Getty image. Incredible!

I have been using it for my magazine lately. It really has been a great way to spice up pages on which I normally wouldn't buy any art. I buy original art, photos, etc., for the magazine all the time and pay $500 to $1,000 US for the stuff, so yes, iStockphoto has been "amazing."

Any chance of seeing your magazine? Sounds really interesting - the use of high-res, expensive imagery always conjures up the thought of something actually worth reading, on the principle that if you have gone to all that trouble and expense then it must be worth it. Plus, I like your writing style so a (pdf) copy would be, methinks, a worthwhile read.

Sure, if you want to read about manufactured housing. I will try to pick a few things that might be interesting to you from a decidedly B to B magazine.
